Not so authentic Japanese sushi or Japanese food (and I'm from Japan), but I loved their unique twists to Japanese food and it tasted delicious! The fish they use are very fresh and has a lot of good fat, so we thought their portion was small at first, but by the end of the meal, we felt full and so satisfied. It is not a cheap restaurant, so it's not a place I would go very frequently, but is definitely a place you want to visit once if you're in Vancouver downtown. I feel like they could do better with their dessert though. It was so heavy and had such strong taste that all the good taste of delicious fish we ate before the dessert just disappeared very quickly. It might be my personal preference though. I like to eat Japanese sweets or fresh fruits with soft tastes after eating delicious fish.
Our server, Lin (Lyn?) was exceptional and made my partner and myself feel very well catered to during his birthday dinner. I do believe we got the best server in the whole Restaurant :) Of course the food was exceptional and the view was also beautiful. This restaurant is expensive, but worth every penny. The chefs even went the extra mile to give us a small birthday surprise. Well done, Miku Vancouver.
Tried this out for Dine Out Vancouver and it was so good from start to finish. Very fresh and tasty. Haven't tasted anything like it. But I have tried Miku only once though, so I can't speak for other dishes given its price point. Overall, it's a great treat once in a while. Highly recommended! :)
This place is top notch. Every bite is a heavenly unexpected flavours. The ambiance and the service are very good too. I highly recommend for a special occasion or even for a casual lunch. It became one of my favourites 🍣 restaurant.
I don't know why this place got such good rates of 4.6 stars. To be honest I’ve had sushi at so many different cities Miku is definitely just an average place. Considering the high price I’d say it’s below average. Service is bad the server of my table cared nothing about us at all. There are way better places to try out in Vancouver other than this restaurant. If this is your first visit in Vancouver don’t get fooled by the rate, it’s not worth your money and time.
